DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (November 7, 2018) – With a record-setting 2018 racing season in its rear-view mirror and the anticipation of even more growth, viewers and excitement in 2019, American Flat Track has added key personnel to its marketing and communication departments.

Career sports marketing and communications professional Helen Pardee joins AFT as Senior Marketing Manager, while Giselle Levy brings a wealth of experience in social media and digital communications to AFT in her role as Communications Manager.

“Helen and Giselle join at a time of rapid growth for AFT and they are both high energy, strong characters who will help grow the sport to the next level,” said Michael Lock, CEO of American Flat Track. “We are delighted to have them on board.”

Pardee arrives at AFT from the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA), where she spent the last 12 years in marketing and communications, most recently as Corporate Partnership Manager. Pardee also worked in IMSA’s communications department. Prior to entering motorsports she worked at PGA TOUR Entertainment, where she specialized in video production.

Levy has served as a social media strategist and brand manager for multiple outlets within the motorcycle industry, and holds an M.A. in English Education. Known as a brand ambassador and event promoter within the motorcycle community, Levy brings her knowledge of digital communications and two-wheeled culture to AFT to broaden and strengthen the sport’s ever-growing audience.

Mitch Boehm will move into an Editorial Director role during the off-season and will work even more closely in 2019 to develop key storylines for AFT’s marketing and communications channels. The move will sharpen and improve the content on AFT’s owned media efforts and provide a more strategic approach to media relations within the motorcycle industry.

JMPR, a division of imre, will continue to serve as American Flat Track’s agency of record, a role the Los Angeles-based agency has held since 2015. JMPR has been pivotal in raising AFT’s profile in the business, consumer, lifestyle and motorcycle enthusiast media by leveraging decades of experience in expanding brands into new markets.

Pardee and Levy will be based at AFT’s headquarters in Daytona Beach, Florida.
