​MotoAmerica: Jason Aguilar And RiCKdiculous Racing Will Not Race Together In 2019

Jason Aguilar, the 2017 MotoAmerica Superstock 600 Champion, and RiCKdiculous Racing will not be racing together in 2019.

“I will not be riding for the Rickdiculous Racing team in the 2019 MotoAmerica series,” Aguilar wrote on his Facebook page on October 10. “I want to give a big thanks to Adam and Josh [Bronfman] for giving me the opportunity this year. Maybe time to bring back Aguilar Racing again.”

Aguilar raced in the 2018 MotoAmerica Supersport Championship for RiCKdiculous Racing and had a two-year deal that extended through 2019, but Aguilar and the team came to an agreement to make a change, according to RiCKdiculous Racing President Josh Bronfman.

“We decided to go in a different direction for both of us,” Josh Bronfman told Roadracingworld.com Thursday. “Jason will remain a RiCK! athlete and will continue training with us, but he won’t be racing for us [next] year. I love the kid. It was great having him on the team, but we’re going to go in a different direction next year.”
