Renzo Ferreira to continue as Fill in rider for Dallas Daniels at Sonoma Raceway

As Dallas Daniels improves with his recovery of a wrist injury with a plan to return to action at PittRace, the Quarterley Racing/On Track Development team welcomes Renzo back for a second time. His victory at Utah Motorsports Campus in Race Two in the MotoAmerica Liqui Moly Junior Cup was a big boost for him, and the team was very happy with his quick adaptation to the bike. Coming from the ultra-competitive WSS 300 class in 2017, Renzo said he could push the Kawasaki Ninja pretty hard right out of the gate.

From Bob Robbins: “Renzo’s past experience in the World level is valuable to us in feedback and potentially helping our riders get the most out of the bikes. Offering a ride in place of a team rider is not something you just snap at as we are like family, but in the end, it’s a good move to uphold sponsor expectations and the cost to be there doesn’t change. In Renzo’s case of the passing of his primary sponsor along with Dallas being injured, I look at it as something good being salvaged out of bad circumstances. Dallas will be present at Sonoma to support the team and keep up with the coaching end from Dale throughout the weekend.

“A steady and impressive amount of progress has been the case with each event for Dallas Daniels and as Jamie Astudillo has most recently demonstrated with her performance at UMC. We are certainly proud of both of them. Jamie is racing at Loretta Lynns’ MX this weekend and will be receiving her High School Diploma there as well, then off to Sonoma!”
