Chris Parrish will contest the entire 2018 MotoAmerica Twins Series.
Multi time WERA Champion Chris Parrish will contest the entire MotoAmerica Twins series on a GC Services 2017 Suzuki SV650. Parrish is no stranger to the SV650 platform. He has piloted the lightweight twin machine to numerous sprint racing and endurance championships since 2005. The Ghetto Customs SV650 will be powered by RBoM Racing superbike motors, exhaling through M4 exhaust and covered with Hotbodies Racing bodywork painted by GC Services. Parrish will contest the series with support from Shoei Helmets, VO2 leathers, M4 exhaust, Hotbodies Racing Bodywork, Rebel Gears, and Wingman’s Garage.
Parrish’s first outing on the new machine was March 16-18 during the WERA Sportsman/National race weekend at Roebling Road Raceway. “The new SV650 is a bit different from the older model that I’ve raced throughout the years,” Parrish said, “but we had a great test at Roebling and found a setup that worked well. On Saturday afternoon, we put on a 2662 Dunlop front and a 097 rear. The spec tires have a lot of grip and give great feedback. I’m anxious to get to Road Atlanta!”
A special thanks goes out to all of those who have contributed to the GC Services 2018 effort: Beth Braun, Travis Richards, Keith Buras, Rob Turner, Anthony Paul, Zoran Vujasinovic, RBoM Racing, the Yo! Crew and the entire WERA Lightweight community.
In between Moto America rounds, Parrish will be defending his WERA/N2 Racing Lightweight Endurance championship with RBoM Racing, as well as racing select WERA sprint races.
