CMRA at NOLA This Weekend

This coming weekend, March 9-11, the Central Motorcycle Roadracing Association (CMRA) hosts its second round of the 2018 race season at NOLA Motorsports Park in Avondale, Louisiana. The track is located just 20 minutes southwest of downtown New Orleans off of Business 90.

Saturday’s schedule includes Mini and Ultra-Lightweight Sprint races, and the opening round of the CMRA Ultra-Lightweight Endurance Series. The day concludes with the trophy presentation and trackside Meet & Greet party sponsored by B&J’s Austin Motorcycle Parts. www.austinmotorcyclesales.com.

Sunday’s schedule is jam-packed with a full day’s worth of competitive Bridgestone/CMRA Championship Sprint races. Among the exciting classes not to be missed is Century Trucks and Vans – Formula 2 Expert, South Central Race Center – C Superstock Expert, and P1 Racing – First 600 to the Finish – Formula 1 Expert award.

Gates open each day at 6:00 a.m. and we race rain or shine! Weekend tickets to the event are only $20 on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and just $10 on Sunday. Kids 12 and younger are free. There is a $5 wristband refund for participants leaving Saturday night – turn in your wristband at the gate as you leave. Tickets are good for the entire weekend. Ride your street bike to the event and you’ll pay just $5 for entry on both Saturday and Sunday! A spectator lap of the track will be conducted during the lunch break on Sunday, schedule and weather permitting.

Please note that NO PETS are allowed at any of the CMRA race events.
