American Flat Track Announces Multi-Year Agreement with E3 as Official Spark Plug

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (February 20, 2018) – American Flat Track (AFT) proudly announces a multi-year agreement with E3 Spark Plug that will see the brand continue as the series’ Official Spark Plug for the 2018 and 2019 racing seasons. The new agreement comes on the heels of a successful inaugural season of support in 2017.

E3 has developed a race-proven product courtesy of its patented DiamondFIRE Technology, which focuses on improving the ignition cycles of the air-fuel mixture inside the engine’s combustion chamber. This approach results in a more complete, cleaner burn, reducing engine emissions while enhancing performance.

That performance was evident in 2017, as E3 Spark Plugs proved to be a fixture up front in both the AFT Twins presented by Vance & Hines and AFT Singles categories last season. E3 sponsored rider Jarod Vanderkooi scored multiple top fives in the premier class, while fellow E3 rider Shayna Texter racked up five victories in AFT Singles action.

“We are delighted to have E3 extend their partnership with American Flat Track,” said Michael Lock, CEO of American Flat Track. “Their support is helping to drive our growth and their backing of up-and-coming star athletes is very welcome.”

As Official Spark Plug of American Flat Track, E3 Spark Plugs will be featured prominently in all 18 AFT broadcasts on NBCSN.

E3 Vice President of Motorsports & Marketing Rob Fisher said, “We love the fact that American Flat Track racing is the original extreme sport. While E3 is able to get feedback from racers that has already translated into new product development, we also benefit tremendously from meeting with the fans. We are excited to step up with our two-year sponsorship this year and expect to be a supporter of American Flat Track racing for many years to come.”

American Flat Track will kick off its highly-anticipated 2018 season with the Bigger, Better, and Faster Harley-Davidson TT presented by Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys at DAYTONA under the lights inside the fabled tri-oval at Daytona International Speedway on Thursday, March 15, 2018. Tickets start at just $30 and are available for purchase now at www.daytonainternationalspeedway.com/Events/2018/… or by calling 1-800-PITSHOP.
