This coming weekend, Aug 17-18, Championship Cup Series (CCS) will host a combined event with Central Roadracing Association (CRA) at Blackhawk Farms Raceway in South Beloit, Illinois. The track is located two hours northwest of Chicago, 15 minutes off of I-90. Racers will take to the 1.95-mile, seven-turn course as they compete in a wide variety of classes.

Gates open Friday at 6 p.m. and registration and tech will be open Friday from 6-7 p.m. in preparation for Saturday’s full day of racer practice, and licensing clinic by Learning Curves Race School. The Pirelli Trackday Challenge will also be on track throughout the day, an opportunity for potential racers to become familiar with a typical race weekend experience.

Sunday, the action heats up with a full slate of races scheduled all day. The 25 minute GT races will kick off the day, while the eight lap sprint races will begin just after the lunch break.

Starting on Friday, tickets for a weekend pass are only $35, reduced to $25 on Saturday, and just $15 on Sunday. The gate will be operated 24 hours.
