​CCS Holding Double-Header Event This Coming Weekend At Blackhawk Farms Raceway

This coming weekend, July 20-21, Championship Cup Series (CCS) will host racing at Blackhawk Farms Raceway in South Beloit, Illinois. The track is located 2 hours northwest of Chicago, 15 minutes off of I-90. Racers will take to the 1.95 mile, seven turn course as they compete in a wide variety of classes both days.

This will be a twin sprint event with a total of 33 races taking place over Saturday and Sunday. Additionally, the Learning Curves Race School will host new racer licensing school on Saturday. Gates open Friday at 5 p.m. and CCS registration/tech will be open Friday from 5-7 p.m. and resume Saturday morning at 7 a.m.

After the races are over on Saturday, be sure to stick around for the 2nd Annual Trike Endurance Race. To sponsor a trike is only $100 with a total of eight trikes available. Teams are comprised of a minimum of two riders and the entry fee is only $20 per rider with 100% of the proceeds going to the Red Flag Fund. For more details, contact Mark or Jane Stiles at TSE.

Starting on Friday, tickets for a weekend pass are only $35, reduced to $25 on Saturday, and just $15 on Sunday. The gate will be operated 24 hours.

The American Sportbike Racing Association (ASRA) is the parent organization to the Championship Cup Series (CCS), the largest amateur motorcycle road racing organization in the United States issuing over 2800 licenses per year. ASRA promotes eight AMA sanctioned Sprint Series and seven AMA sanctioned Team Challenge road racing events for 2019. The CCS Series sanctions 40 events at popular tracks around the United States, including Daytona International Speedway, New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Homestead Miami Speedway, Road America, New Jersey Motorsports Park and Virginia International Raceway among other fine venues.
