Heading into the ninth round of the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship, Laguna Seca will once again host an incredible racing weekend, the last one before the series heads in to Summer break, and all eyes will be focused on WorldSBK as it will be the only class racing around the demanding American layout. Home of the famous “corkscrew corner,” the GEICO US Round will deliver another weekend full of drama and pure adrenaline to US fans.
It has been a roller-coaster season in WorldSBK as Jonathan Rea takes the championship lead for the first time. Next up for Rea is the USA and Laguna Seca, a circuit at which he secured both wins in 2018 on his way to a fourth WorldSBK crown.
