CCS Racing At Blackhawk Farms Raceway This Coming Weekend

This coming weekend, June 22-23, Championship Cup Series (CCS) will host racing at Blackhawk Farms Raceway in South Beloit, Illinois. The track is located two hours northwest of Chicago, 15 minutes off of I-90. Racers will take to the 1.95-mile, seven-turn course as they compete in a wide variety of classes.

Gates open Friday at 5:00 p.m. for CCS registration and tech will be open Friday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in preparation for Saturday’s racer practice, and licensing clinic by Learning Curves Race School. The Pirelli Trackday Challenge will also be on track throughout the day, an opportunity for potential racers to become familiar with a typical race weekend experience.

Sunday, the action continues with a full slate of races scheduled all day. The twenty-five-minute GT races will kick off the day, while the eight lap sprint races will begin just after the lunch break.

Starting on Friday, tickets for a weekend pass are only $35, reduced to $25 on Saturday, and just $15 on Sunday. The gate will be operated 24 hours.

The American Sportbike Racing Association (ASRA) is the parent organization to the Championship Cup Series (CCS), the largest amateur motorcycle road racing organization in the United States issuing over 2800 licenses per year. ASRA promotes eight AMA sanctioned Sprint Series and seven AMA sanctioned Team Challenge road racing events for 2019.
