Suzuki Celebrates 4th Annual Fun Day with Race Teams
Motocross and Road Race teams come together to celebrate Suzuki’s strong racing heritage
Brea, CA – On Wednesday, May 22nd, Suzuki Motor of America, Inc. (SMAI) hosted the JGRMX/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing, Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing, H.E.P. Motorsports, M4 ECSTAR Suzuki, Bar X Motorsports, and the Suzuki Factory/Regional Elite amateur team for its 4th Annual Fun Day at Suzuki’s headquarters in Brea, California. Suzuki employees and riders came together to celebrate their strong relationship and shared enthusiasm for racing. Relationships were built, friendships renewed, and memories were made while enjoying a day full of games, food, and the infamous slow race competition.
“What a great day! We were thrilled to once again host our Annual Fun Day with all of our motocross and road race teams, and employees, showing our ongoing commitment to them,” said Kerry Graeber, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “From the delicious food to the slow race competition, the event was a huge success and we are looking forward to continuing this event every year.”
The riders and employees enjoyed food provided by JGR Suzuki sponsor Wienerschnitzel along with tacos and ice cream sandwiches, while playing corn hole, Suzuki trivia, and getting racer autographs.

Things heated up during the day as racers competed for the Annual Slow Race title. Much different from their normal race strategy, riders from each team were matched-up on Suzuki VanVan’s to see who could cross the finish line last, without putting a foot down. With much enthusiasm, H.E.P Motorsports, Adam Enticknap took the slow race victory along with JGRMX/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory’s Justin Hill grabbing second, and Bar X Motorsports’ Austin Black with third.
Suzuki wants to thank all of its employees, racers, teams, support staff, and sponsors for continuing such a great and successful relationship.
For motocross, JGRMX/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory racing’s Justin Hill, Alex Martin, Kyle Peters, and Weston Peick were joined by H.E.P. Motorsports Alex Ray and Adam Enticknap, along with Suzuki’s RMArmy amateur racers; Julian Beaumer, Austin Black, Dilan Schwartz, Lance Kobush, McClellan Hile, and Preston Kilroy. Two-time Supercross champion and fan-favorite, Chad Reed, also appeared with the JGRMX team and showed his continued commitment to Suzuki.
For Road Racing, the championship duo, Toni Elias and Josh Herrin of Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing were present alongside M4 ECSTAR Suzuki’s, Bobby Fong.
