Beach Looking to Back it Up in Texas

PHOENIX (April 11, 2019) – Attack Performance Estenson Racing’s JD Beach heads to the Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas, April 12-14, for round two of the MotoAmerica Superbike Championship looking for another podium appearance.

Fresh off of a great start to his MotoAmerica Superbike career last weekend at Road Atlanta, Beach is ready to build off what he learned and keep his momentum rolling. The 3.4-mile Texas track is one that Beach likes. It’s the site of his first MotoAmerica Supersport win, back in 2015 when the series first began before going on to win his first of two titles in the 600cc support class. Beach looks to rekindle some of that magic and put on another top performance in front of the MotoGP crowd.

JD Beach — MotoAmerica Superbike #95:

“I’m really looking forward to racing at COTA this weekend. It’s a track that I’ve enjoyed a lot in the past. I’m glad that we’re getting to race back-to-back. I think we learned a lot during round one, so that’s going to help us a lot. It’s going to be a weird weekend because we’re not going to get a lot of track time, but I think we have a good base to start with.

“It’s also really cool to be able to race in front of the MotoGP paddock. I think I’m getting a lot more exposure now that I’m racing Superbike. After Saturday’s race at Road Atlanta, Cal [Crutchlow] said, ‘Nice ride.’ So that was cool. It would be good for me to try to be up front and battling with the guys at COTA.”

COTA is streamed live, Saturday, April 13, on MotoAmerica Live+ starting at 4:15 p.m. ET, Saturday, April 13 and 3:30 p.m. ET, Sunday, April 14. Catch the race on FS2, S2 Saturday, April 13 at 7:30 p.m. ET and Sunday, April 14 at 4:30 p.m. ET.
