Yamaha Champions Riding School Returns to South Florida with Guest Instructor Roger Hayden

Millville, NJ – December 2019 – Yamaha Champions Riding School is returning to Palm Beach International Raceway on January 30th – 31st, 2020 for a full ChampSchool, ChampDay, and ChampGrad program. Multiple AMA Pro Racing Champion, Roger Hayden, will be joining the ChampSchool team at PBIR as a special guest instructor. PBIR will also see the debut of ChampEspanol with fluent Spanish-speaking instructors Emerson Amaya, Michael Henao, and a special guest instructor.

“The south Florida motorcycle scene is one of the best in the country and we are constantly getting requests to bring ChampSchool down south,” said ChampSchool CEO Nick Ienatsch. “We are extremely happy to be able to come back to Palm Beach International Raceway with a fleet of Yamaha rental bikes, Alpinestars gear, Arai Helmets, and some special guests.”

Joining YCRS for the first time is the 2007 AMA Supersport Champion and MotoAmerica Superbike winner Roger Hayden. Roger started racing at six years old and was already well known when he turned pro in 1999. Roger has raced in AMA Superbike, MotoAmerica Superbike, AMA Pro Flat Track, World Superbike, Moto2, and MotoGP. In 2007 Hayden was the AMA Supersport Championship and he has won 7 MotoAmerica Superbike races.

“Roger is one of the best motorcycle riders in the world with wins and championships at the highest level. When he reached out to us about joining the team, we nearly fell over ourselves to say yes,” said ChampSchool CEO Nick Ienatsch. “The sport of motorcycling has been really good to Roger and now that he is officially retired, he is looking to give back. What better way to give back to the motorcycling community than to pass on riding knowledge gained from more than 20 years riding at the highest levels?”

New for 2020 is ChampEspanol. There are over 41 million Spanish speaking people in the United States and they love motorcycles. In order to deliver the best possible product for our Spanish speaking friends in Florida, we are debuting the ChampEspanol program with two fluent Spanish speaking instructors and a special Spanish speaking guest.

“ChampEspanol is the first step in expanding ChampSchool into other languages,” said Ienatsch. “Although ChampSchool will be taught in English, we will have three fluent Spanish instructors to translate and interpret our ChampSchool specific terms. Michael and Emerson are both amazing instructors that have been with ChampSchool for many years. This program will be super helpful for all of our Spanish speaking students.”
