BRANDON PAASCH RETURNS FROM UK MORE DETERMINED

Brandon Paasch landed back in the USA on Monday, July 24 more determined than ever to accelerate his racing career. Paasch rode the G&S Racing Kawasaki ZX6R in Round 6 of the British Superbikes Pirelli National Superstock 600 Championship at Brands Hatch GP circuit. He finished 14th in the race, making up for a small mistake that set him back a couple of spots from his starting position. Paasch cut his fastest laps and speed trap times of the weekend during the race, getting to within one second of the leader’s fastest race lap time.

“While I didn’t achieve my target of a Top 5 result in the race, I did improve every session that I rode the G&S Racing Kawasaki ZX6R. I chased some front suspension issues each session, but I rode the hardest I could. The Kawasaki is fast, and I know that, with a little more time on the bike, I can challenge the series leaders. I’m more determined than ever to get back to the UK to show them what I’ve got. I’m also looking forward to getting back in MotoAmerica and getting some great results there. A huge thanks to Mark, Tom and Nigel at G&S Racing for a great weekend! And a big thanks to my sponsors Arai, Spidi, Evolve GT, DRH Racing, and luxeStar VIP for putting this all together in just two weeks.” (Brandon Paasch)

Mark Fisher, owner of G&S Racing, was very pleased with Brandon’s performance over the weekend.

“Brandon really impressed me with his dedication and hard work on our Kawasaki ZX6R. He gave us great feedback and cut down his lap times on the bike every time he went out. With less than two hours of total track time during the weekend, I was very, very happy that he scored points in the race. Considering we have kids here that have been racing at Brands Hatch and in BSB for years, I think he should be very proud of his accomplishment this weekend. Thanks to Scott at luxeStar VIP and Dave at DRH Racing for setting up this deal, and I look forward to having Brandon back in the team soon.” (Mark Fisher)

Paasch is now evaluating his options for the next rounds in British Superbikes and in MotoAmerica. Working with Scott Rehl at luxeStar VIP, Brandon is putting together a package for his next race.

“I think this was just about the best results we could have had for Brandon this weekend, considering the very short timetable that we had to put this together. I know Brandon has never raced a Kawasaki before, but he proved that he can adapt and go fast from the start. His lap times were within a few tenths of the racers in front of him, and he was getting closer to the leaders every time he was on the track. I’m very pleased that we could show the BSB community that Brandon can compete in such a competitive series. I’m now actively seeking partners and sponsors to amplify Brandon’s career, and I look forward to going back to BSB and MotoAmerica soon.” (Scott Rehl)
