Kawasaki Motors Australia Backs 2020 Australian Superbike Class
Motorcycling Australia are pleased to announce Kawasaki Motors Australia will again throw its full support behind the Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK) in 2020, as the title sponsor of the Kawasaki Superbike Championship class.
The 2020 mi-bike Motorcycle Insurance Australian Superbike Championship, presented by Motul, kicks off tomorrow, with the Kawasaki Superbike class riders blowing out their Christmas cobwebs at the Official ASBK Test at Phillip Island, before the bikes roar into action for ASBK round 1 together with the FIM Superbike World Championship at the Island February 27.
Motorcycling Australia CEO, Peter Doyle, thanked Kawasaki Motors Australia for their continued support of ASBK.
“It is great to have Kawasaki Motors Australia renew their support for ASBK and the Superbike class, as they have been a significant supporter of the championship,” Mr Doyle said.
“The support of manufacturers like Kawasaki Motors Australia is vital for the success of any championship to make it stronger, and we are certainly excited for a sensational 2020 ASBK.
“Together, Motorcycling Australia, with Kawasaki Motors Australia sponsorship have grown the Kawasaki Superbike Class in recent years, and this year is expected to even be better with fierce on track battles in the chase for the 2020 Kawasaki Superbike title.”
Kawasaki Motors Australia, Marketing Manager, Gina Costello, commented on the 2020 ASBK season ahead:
