ZARS Shootout And Rider Challenge Championship Race Results From Road America (Updated)

Elkhart Lake, WI (June 1) – Zalusky Advanced Riding School and Track Days (ZARS) recently held the kickoff to the 2017 Shootout Championship and Rider Challenge Championships Series and Track Day Event, May 29.

The event was held at Elkhart’s Lake Road America. The Shootout Series attracted several top riders including Ricardo Valdez and Charles Burton IV. The series presented by BlownConcepts.com awarded over $500 in cash prizes to the top finishers in each of the classes.

With the hole shot and a strong lead, Ricardo Valdez dominated and took the checkered flag for GP 3/4 Expert. In the GP 1/2 Expert class, Tim Koebert had an intense battle with Nick Uselmann, but ultimately took the checkered flag.

In the Novice ranks, Kyle Franz mad his debut in the Shootout Championship Series and had the strongest performance and took the win for GP 3/4 with Stephen Peterson finishing respectively in 2nd. In GP 1/2, Novice Lawrence Linn took the checkered flag.

ZARS continues to broaden the riding opportunities with the Rider Challenge for experienced Track Day riders. In GP 3/4, James Stanley claimed another win in dominating style with runner up Robert Wagman!

ZARS heads West to Brainerd International Raceway (Minn.), June 24-25, for the annual Lakes Jam Concert & Track Day Event.
