Denver, CO – The MRA Board of Directors has canceled Round 1 this weekend at Pueblo Motorsports Park due to inclement weather conditions in the forecast. It has been rescheduled for the weekend of October 21-22.
An attempt to hold the event this weekend with the forecasted cold and wet track conditions could result in safety being compromised. The traction on the track’s final turn is severely impacted when wet due to it also being used as the burnout box during drag racing events.
All paid entrants will have a credit on their account for the amount of entry fees paid for this weekend’s canceled round. Online pre-entry for the MRA’s next round at Pikes Peak Int’l Raceway will open early next week. Entrant’s credits will be applied towards entries for that round. Those who are not planning on racing at Round 2, or a later round this season and require a refund, please contact MRA Treasurer, Laci Lukachy at [email protected].
