YCRS to Support Mazziotto in 2017 MotoAmerica 600 SuperStock Series

Millville, NJ – Jumping to the 600 Superstock class for 2017, the budget nearly triples and the support needed to run at the front requires an entire new level of commitment over the resources needed to run at the front of the RC390 Cup class. The Yamaha Champions Riding School is jumping behind Anthony Mazziotto III to help develop the new 2017 Yamaha R6 while he competes on his current R6, as well as supply logistics, coaching, and relationship-sharing for this young phenom. Our commitment includes helping raise the finances needed to compete at the front.

Anthony Mazziotto III is one of the nation’s top up-and-coming young racers and is moving up a class for 2017. Mazz finished second in the nation in the RC390 Cup two years in a row and capped off his lightweight bike career with a second in the world at the World Finals at Assen, Netherlands in 2016.

The Yamaha Champions Riding School has instructed many racers over the years. Bred from World Champion Freddie Spencer, the base of the YCRS curriculum is Champions Habits, The techniques that the best riders in the world use to not only go fast, but stay safe doing so. Anthony encapsulates these habits and will be the first racer to ever don the elite acronym “YCRS” on an official race bike.

“I’m humbled,” says Anthony Mazziotto III. “Everyone involved in YCRS is at the top of the game and it’s really cool of them to believe in me enough to help this much.”

“The day the kid got back from his first YCRS school he was a different rider. He was able to think about what he was doing and raised his level of control instead of just twisting the throttle and relying on talent. All those awards and accolades: AMA Horizon Award winner, second in the nation and in the world, all happened after he graduated from ChampSchool,” said Anthony Mazziotto Jr. (Anthony III’s dad)

YCRS joins Markbilt Racebikes and N2 Track Days in supporting Anthony. Markbilt will build and maintain both his current and the new R6 while N2 will help with logistics, track time, and travel. It’s a perfect fit. Anthony is a YCRS student and we have a strong relationship with Markbilt and N2 Track Days where Anthony currently gets his bikes tuned and gets his track time.

It’s not just YCRS, Markbilt and N2 that will make this possible. Yamaha Generators will supply power to the pits and paddock while YamaLube provides care for the bikes second to none. Woodcraft will provide hard parts along with Armor Bodies as well as help develop the 2017 Yamaha R6. Chicken Hawk will supply the best tire warmers available and Core Moto will team with SBS Brake pads to provide stopping power.

YCRS will currently be the title sponsor but is more than happy to move over and make room for a partner with the resources to help get this program to the next level. This kid is a future champion and helping him to get the support he deserves is a top priority. With this in mind, YCRS encourages anyone wanting to get in on the ground floor of a YCRS racing program, as well as the ground floor of a future champion, to reach out to Keith Culver, COO of the Yamaha Champions Riding School via 732-267-3699 or [email protected] . We would love your help and support. Click here for a copy of the official sponsor deck.
