Technical report on fatal crash in practice at 2016 Catalan GP

The Fédération de Motocyclisme (FIM) has received a report, drafted under the supervision of MotoGP Technical Director Mr Danny Aldridge, concerning the crash during practice at the Catalan Grand Prix in which Moto2 rider 39, Luis Salom, tragically lost his life.

The FIM takes note of the conclusions of the report and reiterates its commitment to working with its partners to ensure as far as possible the safety of riders and other participants in motorcycling sport.
