Announcement regarding Barder Motorsports Park

Broaster Chicken / RoadRace Factory announces that they will withdraw from round seven of the MotoAmerica Superbike series scheduled for Barber Motorsports Park this weekend.

Team Principal Danny Walker stated: “The team will be withdrawing from this weekend’s race due to multiple factors. The biggest issue we face has been our disappointing performance so far this season. It’s been obvious that we are missing something. In order to be competitive in the Superbike class we had to try some new technical components that have not provided us with the return on investment we expected in terms of reliability and results.

“We’ve won two championships in a row with Jake and his crew in two different classes and we remain confident in their collective abilities to resolve the issues we’ve faced. However, compounding the technical issues is the fact that this is racing. Results drive funding. With our inconsistent performance and continued expenses of trying to fix the problems. We’ve exceeded our funding allocation. In order to make the remaining rounds we feel it’s best to stay home and spend the time working on our bikes and coming back fully prepared.

“This is a very difficult decision to make, and one that was made as a team. It’s an extremely unfortunate situation and one that we must resolve. We owe it to Jake who is a world caliber rider, we owe it to our crew who have brought us the two championship winning machines and we owe it our sponsors who have stuck with us during this trying time. Lastly, we owe it to our fans who support the sport and deserve the best from us every weekend. We will return and we will be back to our championship winning ways.”

Thank you for your continued support and we’ll see you at the races soon.
