More, from a press release issued by Millennium Technologies/KWR:

Kyle Wyman Racing team ready for Millennium Technologies home race in Wisconsin

ELKHART LAKE, Wis. (June 2) — The Millennium Technologies/KWR team heads to Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin this weekend for the fifth round of the MotoAmerica Superbike championship. The 4 mile circuit plays host to the home race for Millennium Technologies who is located just a few minutes away from the track in Plymouth, Wisconsin.

Kyle Wyman, who competes on the #33 Millennium Technologies/KWR Superbike, has high hopes for Road America. He has two wins to his credit at the historic race track in the Harley-Davidson series, and hopes to translate that into his best finishes on the Yamaha YZF-R1.

“I’m really looking forward to this weekend and riding at Road America again,” Wyman said. “It’s definitely one of my favorite events on the schedule. Three super fast straightaways, and it will be my first time riding the ‘big bike’ here, so the speeds are going to be higher than I’ve ever experienced.”

With the high speeds, it’s fitting that the KWR team has brought a new motor spec to Road America, and hopes to get more out of the Lucas Oil-sponsored weapon for a round that means a lot to the team.

“For here it’s great because we have a lot of employees of Millennium Technologies who attend the race.” Wyman added. “We have a huge support group at this event every year and it’s my goal to reward them with some solid finishes and put on a great show. We wouldn’t be able to go racing without our sponsors, and the fans who come out to the events. It’s going to be a great weekend.”

Travis Wyman looking for another win in Wisconsin

Travis Wyman will compete in the Superstock 600 series again this weekend at Road America. Wyman has won two races in Wisconsin, just like Kyle, and is flying high on confidence at a track he knows well.

“I’m looking forward to racing at Road America again, the track that I’ve had the most success at,” Wyman said. “We have had some bad luck these past few rounds but I know my Millennium Technologies Yamaha R6 is strong here and we have a great shot at a couple wins. I can’t wait to turn it loose for Friday’s practice.”

Tune in to beIN SPORTS USA for LIVE coverage of the races this weekend. Practice begins at 10:00 a.m. CST Friday, June 3rd. Catch all the action by following MotoAmerica on its various social media outlets.
