Memorial services have been set for the father of former AMA Pro Road racer and current WERA West Formula One Champion Corey Sarros. Richard N. Sarros of Napanoch, New York died on Friday, March 25, in Dania Beach, Florida. He was 79. The son of Peter and Lucille Sarros, he was married in 1972 to Camille Mignone Sarros, and the two worked together in their own businesses for 44 years. He is survived by his wife Camille, his children Corey and Kira, grandchildren Jaiden and Valentino, brother Anthony and sister Angela. Memorial services are scheduled for April 17 at 4 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 40 Fox Hill Rd., Warwarsing, NY. “I just want to thank him for teaching me so much about construction and about life in general,” Sarros says. “I will miss him.”
