Daytona Anderson Racing suffered a major setback this past Sunday, 3/27/2016, when Daytona Anderson suffered a warm up practice crash during his final club race weekend. Three riders all went down after riding over fluid on the track. The other two riders were able to walk away from the incident, but unfortunately Daytona’s bike landed on him during the crash. The impact of the bike caused internal bleeding, later identified as a ruptured spleen.

Daytona Anderson Racing thanks the entire CVMA staff and medical units on site for their immediate and professional response to the incident. Daytona and the entire team are very thankful for the heartfelt best wishes and the support received since the incident. Daytona’s return to racing is at least four weeks out at this point in time. Daytona was to make his professional debut at Round 1 of the MotoAmerica series at the Circuit of the Americas event April 8-10, 2016, but now the earliest will be Round 3 at New Jersey April 29 thru May 1st.

Daytona Anderson Racing would like to thank their sponsors for their support; MCTECH, BBJK, Roseville Kawasaki, Ken Hill Coaching, Rickdiculous Racing, Dainese, Yoshimura, K-Tech, EVOL, Vortex, Dunlop, Racer Gloves, Techspec, Evergreen CSD.
