Team Rabid Transit Announces the Addition of Sheridan Morais

Team Rabid Transit, powered by RSRacecraft, are happy to announce they have signed Sheridan Morais to their team for 2016. In addition to Brandon Cretu who will be competing in the MotoAmerica Superbike class, Sheridan joins the team and will campaign the Yamaha R1 in the Superstock 1000 class.

Morais made his MotoAmerica debut last year at Road America finishing the weekend on the podium for both races. His disciplined work habits along with the ability to learn the tracks quickly is a combination that secured him multiple podiums and a Superstock 1000 pole position start.

Sheridan Morais commented:

“I am absolutely over the moon and grateful for this opportunity. After thinking that I was not going to be racing in the MotoAmerica championship in 2016, it has all just fallen into place and it feels so good. I am on a bike that I know very well, with people I have grown very close to, and that are very capable of creating a winning environment. I am bike fit, raring to go and keen to meet my new team members for our first test together at COTA.”

Ronnie Saner, RSRacecraft owner & Team Crew Chief stated:

“I look forward to working with Shez again this year as he is always a pleasure to work with and I feel that he will be a great addition to the team both as a competitor as well as a quality teammate to Brandon. I am excited to go back to tracks where he knows the course and can put his head down and ride. I am also very pleased that Sheridan’s deal with RSRacecraft is a two year commitment as I feel multiple years together will only strengthen our long term results. Over the course of the 2015 MotoAmerica season Sheridan’s accurate technical feedback and ability to get up to speed quickly was a huge value to the team.”
