Yoshimura Suzuki’s MotoAmerica Superbike rider Jake Lewis was injured Saturday, February 27, in a crash while riding motocross in Kentucky, according to a posting he made on his Instagram page.

On Saturday evening, Lewis wrote: “Sitting here and honestly don’t know what to say. I’m so bummed as everything was going perfect for this year. Unfortunately I crashed today and broke a bone in my [left] hand, but the main thing is I broke my [right] shoulder. Will know very soon about surgery and getting back healthy soon.”

We will post more information as it becomes available.
