New motorcycle trackday offers small groups and top level instruction
Olympia, WA ~ TrackTime is the newest motorcycle track day organizer in the Pacific Northwest. Four track day events will be held exclusively at The Ridge Motorsports Park in Shelton, WA. TrackTime answers the demand from riders who want small size groups with lots of ‘open track’ instead of overcrowded events. TrackTime is the only track day that limits riders to 25 per group with no more than 35 in the most advanced group. “Motorcycle riding is an exciting & challenging sport. It’s safer, quicker to learn and a lot more fun for small groups of riders to have the track to themselves.” says owners Alan Schwen and Jeremy Bucklin.
“World class riding instructor Ken Hill will hold classroom session throughout the day open to all of our riders. Ken’s classes will cover riding techniques that riders can immediately work “one on one” with TrackTime instructors. What makes TrackTime different is a commitment to a standardized curriculum that makes it easier for riders of all levels to learn to be faster, safer and more competent riders.” explained Jeremy Bucklin.
Ken Hill brings a whole new level of coaching to the Pacific Northwest riders. Ken has worked with many top level racers as well being a lead instructor with Yamaha Champions Riding School, the Freddie Spencer School and coaching at the Rickdiculous Racing programs.
TrackTime is organized by Alan Schwen and Jeremy Bucklin. Alan is a former WMRRA Overall Champion and has successfully raced all over the United States with AMA, WERA, and OMRRA.
Alan has been instructing and coaching since 2001.
Jeremy Bucklin has ridden bikes most his life and is a true enthusiast of the sport. “We both felt like there was a big piece missing when it came to track day events. All of the track day organization up here do a great job, but we believe we can fill the niche that is been left out among other groups.”
TrackTime’s first event is May 16, 2016. They are raffling off a season pass for all four of their events. Half the proceeds benefit the Mason County Food Bank. Details on their website.
