Fort Worth, Texas– The Championship Cup Series is pleased to announce an additional date for the CCS Southeast Roadracing Championship for 2016. For the first time in nearly 20 years, CCS Southeast is returning to the Talladega Gran Prix Raceway on May 14-15, 2016. This will be a Twin Sprint event so the racing action will be non-stop on Saturday and Sunday with all sprint classes running once each day.
This addition to the CCS schedule brings the Southeast Championship to 8 races and marks the final addition to the schedule for 2016.
For those looking for extra practice and set-up time, there is a Friday practice hosted by Ed Bargy, the designer of the current configuration. For information about Friday go to http://edbargy.com/school-home.html.
