TEAM FEDERAL OIL GRESINI MOTO2 AND ASPIRA RENEW PARTNERSHIP FOR 2016

ASPIRA, cars and motorcycles spare parts brand of the Astra Otoparts Group, Indonesia’s leading company in the automotive components field, will continue to support for the fourth consecutive year the Team Federal Oil Gresini Moto2: during the 2016 season, the ASPIRA brand will be displayed on Sam Lowes’ Kalex Moto2 machine, as well as the rider’s leathers and all team clothing and equipment.

The continuation of the partnership with ASPIRA further strengthens the bond between Team Federal Oil Gresini Moto2 and Indonesia, a country that represents a key emerging market for motorcycles, and aiming to host a MotoGP race in 2017.

Astra Otoparts is the biggest automotive components manufacturer in Indonesia. The Company’s largest market segment is the automotive manufacturers market (OEM / Original Equipment for Manufacturer), but the group is also expanding his Aftermarket consumer-related business by applying the technology and skills developed in the automotive field.

YUSAK KRISTIAN (Astra Otoparts Director)

“Having a huge population of bikers, Indonesia can count on a really big MotoGP audience. The energy and the excitement that the fans share while watching the races is enormous: therefore, ahead of the 2016 season we decided to extend the partnership with Gresini Racing for the fourth consecutive year. Along with the new rider Sam Lowes we are confident that the team will be able to deliver a strong performance during the year, and thus strengthen its position as Indonesians’ favorite team in the Moto2 World Championship. We believe that the collaboration between Astra Otoparts and Gresini Racing will continue to bring a significant positive impact to the ASPIRA brand as Official Sponsor of the team”.

FAUSTO GRESINI

“Indonesian Company Astra Otoparts is an extremely important partner for us, so it’s a great pleasure to be able to give continuity to our collaboration in the Moto2 World Championship, started back in 2013. Thanks to ASPIRA’s valuable support, in the last three seasons we have been able to embark on a positive growth path, reaching the victory in last July’s German Grand Prix. Our goals for the upcoming campaign are therefore even more ambitious: we have a good team, a competitive technical package and we can count on a very fast rider, so hopefully we can repay the great confidence that the Astra Otoparts group is putting on us. It would be great to be absolute protagonists, waiting for the future Indonesian MotoGP round which is likely to take place in 2017”.
