Irvine, Calif. (December 11, 2015) – The 2015 racing season was a landmark for the Kawasaki Racing Team and the Kawasaki Ninja® ZX™-10R sportbike, as the iconic brand clinched the World Superbike and World Supersport championships and the Manufacturer Championship in both classes, a first in World Superbike history. The achievement caps off one of the most dominant road racing seasons in history for Kawasaki and after an incredibly successful racing year, Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. has developed an industry leading U.S. road racing contingency program for 2016.

The 2016 Kawasaki road racing contingency program will support 14 racing associations across America, covering 177 events including 48 WERA races and all 41 races in the Championship Cup Series. Kawasaki will be leading the industry with a total of $2 million posted in contingency rewards, including more than $1.1 million posted in the AMA MotoAmerica series. For details on events and postings please visit: www.kawasaki.com/racing/team-green/contingency.

Kawasaki will be supporting those who race a 2015 or 2016 model year Ninja ZX-10R, Ninja ZX-6R, Ninja® 650 or Ninja 300 motorcycle. In order to be eligible, Kawasaki motorcycles must have “Kawasaki” on both sides of the motorcycle and Kawasaki Lime Green should remain the dominant color.

Kawasaki genuine race kit parts will be available for the 2016 Ninja ZX-10R. Race kit parts include key items such as adjustable ECU, camshafts, shims, springs and more. Check back in February 2016 at www.kawasaki.com/racing or your Kawasaki Ninja® motorcycle dealer for a full parts list.
