​American Sean Kelly Wins RC Cup By KTM Championship In Mexico

Sean Kelly, a 13-year-old American from Miami, Florida, won both RC Cup by KTM races December 5-6 at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City, Mexico, earning the 2015 RC Cup by KTM Championship in the Bike Racing Mexico series.

On December 5, Kelly won Race One, a seven-lap event, by 26.060 seconds over Daniel Carrera with Enrique Muniz placing third.

On December 6, Kelly won 10-lap Race Two by 14.469 seconds over runner-up Carrera and third-place Cristopher Martinez.

All competitors rode KTM RC390 Cup racebikes fitted with Metzeler M7RR control tires.

In October, Kelly placed second overall in the KTM RC390 Cup World Final at Silverstone, in England.

Kelly has been selected to join the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup series in 2016.
