Manfredi steps in for Cardenas at Losail

ITALIAN Kevin Manfredi will replace Colombian Martin Cardenas for CIA Landlords Insurance Honda at the 12th and final round of the World Supersport Championship at Losail in Qatar this Sunday, October 18th.

Visa issues meant Martin was unable to enter the country and Kevin, who has raced for the team as a replacement rider during 2015, was delighted to get the call up for the final round.

CIA Landlords Insurance Honda’s Simon Buckmaster said: “It is disappointing that Martin will not finish the season with us at Losail but we are already looking forward to 2016 with him.

“We are lucky to have a rider like Kevin to call upon and delighted he could step in at such short notice. He has the ability to score good points this weekend and help the whole team finish 2015 on a high.”

Kevin joins Gino Rea, Aiden Wagner and Stefan Hill in the CIA Landlords Insurance Honda team.
