Yamaha Celebrates Special Edition Abarth 695 biposto
The Movistar Yamaha MotoGP Team‘s partnership with Abarth was further strengthened last week with a special ceremony at Abarth‘s headquarters in Turin. The Team were given three Abarth 695 biposto Yamaha Factory Racing Edition ahead of the Abarth 595 Yamaha Factory Racing Edition car launch at the Frankfurt International Motor Show in a few days time.

The Movistar Yamaha MotoGP team were last week given three special customised Abarth 695 biposto Yamaha Factory Racing Edition cars in a special ceremony at the Abarth headquarters in Turin.
Abarth Head Operations Paolo Gagliardo made the presentation of the cars to Lin Jarvis, Managing Director of Yamaha Motor Racing, in the presence of Alfredo Altavilla, EMEA COO and CEO of Abarth.
The three Abarth‘s are all uniquely customised with silver details for the Team car, red details for Jorge Lorenzo and yellow details for current MotoGP championship leader Valentino Rossi. The mirror caps of the three cars are painted different colours and match the colour of the brake callipers and the hub caps.
Movistar Yamaha and Abarth continue to enjoy a successful two-year partnership with the Italian sportive car manufacturer as Official Sponsor and Official Car Supplier to the Team, the two sharing similar values dedicated to delivering machinery of the highest quality materials with pure performance in mind.
Yamaha‘s Factory MotoGP effort continues to enjoy unrivalled success at the top level of racing with teammates Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo taking centre stage for the current MotoGP season as the key protagonists. Valentino currently leads the standings by 12 points from his teammate Jorge, the two duelling each round in the hunt to claim the world title.
