Not Your Typical Track Day!
There is just over a week to go until Friday 18th September and the second JETT Tuning/Ultimate MotorCycling track event at Buttonwillow.
Limited to just A and B groups with 80 riders in total, you will be able to enjoy a relatively clear track across three sessions per hour. The last 20 minute Open session will give you a second chance each hour to hone your skills or try out a test bike or product from a vendor. That’s a possible 40 minutes every hour in track time!
The list of vendors grows daily, (30 so far) and with almost all of the motorcycle manufacturers represented everyone will have a chance to ride the latest and greatest throughout the day. Fancy a ride on Yamahas blistering new R1? Want to try Aprilia’s gorgeous new RSV4? How about the World Superbike Championship dominating Kawasaki ZX-10R or a Repsol liveried Honda CBR1000RR SP? Triumph, KTM, Ducati, BMW with the new S1000 XR, and others—including Richard Hatfield’s Lightning electric superbike are all bringing bikes for you to sample. Supported by most of the major apparel and accessories companies like Dunlop, Pirelli, Motion Pro, Dyno Jet, Speed Mod, Graves Motorsports, Alpinestars, Pilot, Arai, Cortech, Motonation, Aim motorsports, Chickenhawk, and Dainese to name a few. As well, there will be ample opportunity to talk to the pros and equip yourself out with the best.
The rider entry fee of $250 also includes Jake Zemke and his Riding Development who will be there to work with anyone wanting to improve their skills and get some track insight from an ex-factory Honda Racing professional and Champion. He will be joined by Jason Pridmore, Corey Neuer, Wyatt Ferris and a couple other Moto America racers as well.
This will be a relaxed, fun day, and spectators are welcome. Robyn Cole from Moto Massage will be there, Cali-Photography will be taking pictures for purchase, and the Buttonwillow Café will be open all day too.
