Sutton Sweeps OMRRA’s Formula Ultra at Portland International Raceway

OMRRA opened the summer season of racing under hot conditions at Portland International Raceway. Eight class lap records using the chicane configuration were set during the weekend. Washington’s Ryan Sutton took the top spot in both Formula Ultra races extending his lead in the KFG Racing Formula Ultra Championship. Sutton also became the fourth member to join the 1:05 club around Portland International Raceway. In the Cheshire Motorsports Clubman Championship, Oliver Jervis picked up two class lap records and extended his championship lead to 26 points over Paul Capps. In the Langlitz Leathers Vintage Championship Mica Grohn finished atop the sheets four times and has nearly double the points of her nearest competitor. The next OMRRA event is July 24-26 featuring OMRRA’s New Racer School on the 24th with sprint racing and Euro Day. Join us at Portland International Raceway.
