Current FIM Supersport World Championship point leader Kenan Sofuoglu was also the leader of Free Practice Two with a lap time of 1:46.152 on his San Carlo Puccetti Racing Kawasaki ZX-6R Friday at the the Algarve International Circuit, in Portimao, Portugal.

American PJ Jacobsen was second-best in the session with a time of 1:46.512, but the big news was the fact that Jacobsen did the time on a CORE Motorsport Thailand Honda CBR600RR and not the Intermoto Ponyexpress Kawasaki ZX-6R he started the season on and rode at the previous round at Donington Park. Jacobsen’s only response to numerous attempts by Roadracingworld.com to contact him was to confirm that he would be with CORE Motorsport Thailand for the remainder of the season.

There are no riders entered for Intermoto Ponyexpress Kawasaki at the event in Portugal.
