Stefano Mesa has secured sponsorship by TTR (Turbo Turtle Racing) to compete in the Superbike class on the team’s Honda CBR1000RR for the remainder of the 2015 season with MotoAmerica.

New to Honda, Mesa debuted the bike with MotoAmerica at the Road Atlanta round last month. “I’m excited about the bike,” exclaimed Mesa. “I’ve only ridden the bike two times, and I was really comfortable.” He is looking forward to more seat time to work on getting the bike set up for him at VIR May 15th – 17th. “VIR is going to be fun,” said Mesa. “We’re working on getting the bikes where we want them to be at a competitive level with MotoAmerica.”

TTR has opened their doors as a Honda specialist shop in Sunrise, Florida, with designs on putting Honda back on the podium. They are also considering backing Mesa in the Supersport class on the team’s Honda CBR600RR.
