Over the last couple of years, Sportbike Track Gear’s Brian Van has done an annual bike build and then given away the completed bike towards the end of the season. One lucky customer is drawn and receives the fully built motorcycle, along with all the goodies that have been installed throughout the season. The 2014 project bike was a Honda CBR1000RR and the happy winner was Todd M. from Belle Isle, Florida.

Each year a different motorcycle has been chosen, with step by step installation videos on many of the popular upgrades and seasonal maintenance items posted on SportbikeTrackGear.com. This year Brian Van has decided to pick up a 2015 Suzuki GSX-R600, as it is one of the most popular sportbikes on the market today for street or track use. In addition to choosing a 600cc machine, he is changing up the build this year and will be building the Suzuki for both street and track-day use.

That’s because many track-day enthusiasts use their motorcycle for street and track use, taping up the lights and removing the license plate on the weekends. With this build, Van will be installing some of the hottest aftermarket parts that are suitable for street use and then many of the handy upgrades that will also make the bike perform well on the racetrack. Additionally, he is building the Suzuki in conjunction with the M4 Suzuki MotoAmerica AMA/FIM Supersport race team this year and it will be known as the Team M4 Sportbiketrackgear.com Suzuki GSX-R600.
