Fort Worth Texas – The Championship Cup Series (CCS) would like to announce the finalization of the 2015 Mid-West Championship Series. With the addition of Autobahn Country Club, Brainerd International and a return to Gingerman Raceway, the series will once again consist of eleven point races for the championship.

The return to Autobahn Country Club on May 2-3 will be run as a Twin Sprint event with Sportbike Track Time hosting the Friday track day and practice event. Riders who participate in the Friday event will purchase their event credential at STT registration and will not have to move out the paddock after the conclusion of on track activities. Also the gate will remain open until 10:00pm for those CCS competitors that will be arriving later on Friday.

As earlier announced, the Brainerd event will be a Twin Sprint for the Central Roadracing Association with Sunday’s races paying championship points for both series on June 14th.

In September, Gingerman Raceway rejoins the Mid-West schedule with a full practice day on Saturday the 19th and a full slate of CCS racing on Sunday the 20th. While gate hours have not been set at this time, it is our intention to have them open as early as possible and close as late as possible to accommodate our racers travel plans.

With these additions to the announced schedule, CCS has made the final event at Blackhawk on September 26-27 a single round, double points race featuring AMA Sanctioned ASRA Sprints Presented by Pirelli Tire instead of the previously published Twin Sprint. This change will keep the CCS Mid-West Roadracing Championship at the maximum of 11 rounds for the 2015 season and give the racers a robust schedule to satisfy their “need for speed”.
