Millennium Technologies to Sponsor The Herrin Compound in 2015.
Plymouth, WI– April, 2015 – Millennium Technologies, the world leader in advanced engine machining services and cylinder repair, is proud to announce a partnership with The Herrin Compound in 2015. The Herrin Compound is a road racing, super-moto racing, and training facility owned by 2013 AMA Superbike Champion, Josh Herrin. Located in Dublin, GA The Herrin Compound is dedicated to providing a place for both new riders and professionals to train, race, and ride.
The Herrin Compound hosts a seasonal race series with classes for minis and full-sized super-moto equipment. The races are held once a month on a purpose-built asphalt track with grid sizes that can exceed 40 riders. “The Herrin Compound’s unique asphalt layout is great for small bikes like a CRF100F which can be pushed to the limit with very little cost or risk,” said Millennium Marketing Director, Chip Spalding. “This allows young riders, new riders, and seasoned professionals an opportunity at a low cost road racing experience that directly translates to bigger road race tracks.”
Millennium Technologies has been supporting riders in both professional and amateur road racing since its inception in 1997 and has been a significant participant in the AMA Superbike paddock for more than 13 years. “We want to see road racing in the America return to its former glory and programs like The Herrin Compound are great entry level organizations that get kids started,” said Spalding. “As a specialized manufacture, we offer products and services that every racer can use, like big-bore kits, cylinder and cylinder head repair and modification, so It is in our best interest to have a strong road racing culture in America.”
