Colorado’s MRA New Racers’ School this weekend, April 3-4
The Motorcycle Roadracing Association (MRA) will be holding its 2015 New Racers’ School this weekend. The classroom session will be Friday evening, April 3rd at Fay Myers Motorcycle World followed by on track instruction at High Plains Raceway all day Saturday, April 4th.
The on-track school will be held in conjunction with a lapping day at HPR. Licensed racers can ride during the open lapping sessions and race school students will be coached by instructors during the MRA sessions. Race school students will practice starting, braking and cornering drills, as well as instructor-led exploration of alternative race lines.
Fay Myers Motorcycle World is generously supplying classroom accommodations for Friday’s evening session. Doors open at 6pm, class starts at 7pm. Fay Myers is at 9700 E Arapahoe Rd Greenwood Village, CO 80112
On-track sessions will be at High Plains Raceway on Saturday April 4th. Students should be unloaded and ready to go by 7:30am. We’ll meet for a 7:30 riders meeting, tech the bikes and be on track at 9:30am. High Plains Raceway is at 93301 E US Highway 36 Deer Trail, CO 80105
