Racers and race supporters are reporting via social media networks that ASRA/CCS announced today during a rider’s meeting at Daytona International Speedway that the 74th Daytona 200 would be webcast on Fanschoice.TV, but those reports are inaccurate.

To get the correct information, Roadracingworld.com contacted ASRA/CCS President Kevin Elliott and asked what was announced at the rider’s meeting.

“We didn’t announce that it was going to be [webcast on Fanschoice.TV],” said Elliott. “We said that there was an 11th-hour deal working. We didn’t announce it. We just said that the [Daytona International] Speedway understands how important this is and is working to get Fanchoice.TV to cover it.”

An announcement regarding the Daytona 200 webcast on Fanschoice.TV could come later today.
