Husqvarna celebrates a memorable debut year in Moto3 with the Season Highlights Video. Watch out!
Husqvarna Motorcycles’ debut year in the Moto3 class of the MotoGP World Championship in 2014 saw the brand take its rightful place alongside other major players in top-class, road-racing competition.
Britain’s Danny Kent lined up for Red Bull Husqvarna Factory Racing, rejoining the Moto3 competition after a year away in Moto2. Kent picked up a top 10 finish in 10 rounds in the 18-round competition. He was five times in the top five, including two third place podiums in Brno (CZ) and Aragon (ESP). Kent also wound up his season in style, narrowly missing additional podium places to finish fourth in the last two rounds at Sepang, Malaysia and in Valencia.
Also on fast flowing MotoGP circuits riding the FR 250GP in the brand’s debut year was Husqvarna-supported rider Niklas Ajo of Finland. The talented all-or-nothing young Finnish rider showed flashes of brilliance and daring throughout the season, picking up six top ten finishes. His best performance was a fifth place finish in Mugello, where he was a podium contender going into the final corner in this hotly contested class.
