Travis Wyman Racing BMW returns to MotoAmerica Stock 1000 grid for 2023

Two-time Stock 1000 runner-up to compete in two MotoAmerica classes this season

LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Travis Wyman will be pulling double duty again in 2023, as the MotoAmerica veteran has revived his Travis Wyman Racing BMW team for another shot at clinching his first MotoAmerica Stock 1000 crown. The two-time MotoAmerica Stock 1000 runner-up will race a BMW in Stock 1000 for the sixth-consecutive season while also competing as a factory rider for Harley-Davidson in the King Of The Baggers class.

The Austin, Texas-based team plans to contest all five Stock 1000 rounds – which take place at Road Atlanta, Barber Motorsports Park, Road America, Brainerd International Raceway and the Circuit of The Americas – aboard a BMW M 1000 RR. Wyman also will continue his partnership with Alex Torres of Fast Line Motorcycle Performance, who serves as Wyman’s chief mechanic.

Wyman proved last year that he can successfully compete full-time in multiple MotoAmerica classes. He finished runner-up in King Of The Baggers, third in Stock 1000 and 12th in Superbike.

Wyman also is no stranger to success in Stock 1000 competition. After finishing third in MotoAmerica’s Superstock 600 Class in 2015 and 2016, Wyman found immediate success in Stock 1000 during the class’ inaugural season. He won the first two Stock 1000 races in 2018 and finished second in the points standings in 2018 and 2021. He’s also finished third in the class standings in 2020 and 2022 and has claimed five victories and 14 additional podium finishes in Stock 1000 competition.

“I’m really looking forward to my sixth year racing a BMW,” Wyman said. “I am grateful for BMW’s renewed support of my racing team, and I can’t thank Alex Torres enough for his increased support for 2023. Alex has allowed me to base my team’s operations out of his Austin, Texas shop, which – along with the condensed 10-race, five-round schedule – has made my return to Stock 1000 racing financially and logistically viable. I’m also thankful for the sponsors who have come back on board with me for 2023.”

Travis Wyman Racing’s marketing partners for the 2023 season include BMW, Harv’s Harley-Davidson, Fast Line Motorcycle Performance, Motul, Bilmola, Alpinestars, Alpha Racing, Frank Madden Painting, SBS, Zero Gravity, GB Racing, Stompgrip, ODI, Full Spectrum, Medage, IRV Seaver BMW, Vortex, Precision Hydration, Suter, Ohlins, Evol Technology, Capit and Lieto Factory.

Business owners and brand managers who wish to share in Travis Wyman Racing’s success in 2023 can contact Wyman about sponsorship opportunities at [email protected].

All 10 MotoAmerica Stock 1000 races will be live streamed on MotoAmerica’s proprietary streaming service, MotoAmerica Live+. To learn more about MotoAmerica Live+, visit http://motoamericaliveplus.com.
