MotoAmerica: Di Mario On Provisional Pole In Junior Cup At Road Atlanta

Alessandro Di Mario, riding his Altus Motorsports Kawasaki Ninja 400, took provisional pole position during MotoAmerica Junior Cup Qualifying One (Q1) Friday afternoon at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta.

Di Mario, the 14-year-old who won the 2022 AMA Nicky Hayden Road Race Horizon Award, led the field with a lap time of 1:42.231.

Hayden Bicknese followed up leading Free Practice One (FP1) by finishing second in Q1 with a 1:42.543 on his Hayden Bicknese Racing Kawasaki Ninja 400.

Avery Dreher was third-quickest in Q1 with a lap time of 1:42.589 on his Bad Boys Racing Kawasaki.
