3rd annual Motovid.com Broken Wing Benefit raises $7000 for Roadracing World Action Fund supporting air fence deployments at Blackhawk Farms Raceway eclipsing 2013 results.

(Delavan WI) For the third consecutive year, the annual Motovid.com Broken Wing Benefit held Sat. Aug. 30 in tandem with the Labor Day track day weekend delivered an incredible result, raising $7000 with the wonderful support and increased donations from the Motovid.com motorcycling community.

The proceeds raised are directed towards the continued support of the Roadracing World Action Fund (RWAF) promoting motorcycle safety and future air fence deployments at Blackhawk Farms Raceway.

“We had hoped for a good event and got an awesome success; thank you!” said Kathleen Casey, owner Motovid.com. “I want to personally thank our entire community, partners, sponsors, volunteers and everyone who helped make this event a wonderful success and continue to support Motovid.com and motorcycle safety at Blackhawk Farms. We could not do it without you.” Casey added.

Similar to previous Broken Wing events, the evening activities included a silent / live auction and wing cooking – eating contests with two full seasons of Motovid.com track days at Blackhawk Farms Raceway on the line. A special live music show was added, performed by the Mike Stone Jazz Trio to close the night.

The 2014 contests witnessed a reigning champ dominate the field for WingMonster title and a newly crowned WingMaster showing her skills to secure the crown and Best Wings title.

Mark Meyrose motored his way through the fiery contest wings to become the two time Motovid.com – Blackhawk Farms Raceway WingMonster and current champ for 2014. At one point, providing assistance to his fellow contestants to finish the contest strong.

Missy Lewandowski demonstrated the right technique and recipe to earn top choice for Best Wings and as such, the 2014 WingMaster crown. Great job to the winners and all participants.
