Josh Herrin earned his second pole position of the year in MotoAmerica Medallia Superbike Qualifying Two (Q2) Saturday morning at Ridge Motorsports Park, in Shelton, Washington.

Herrin pushed at the end of the session to record a 1:39.863 and then crashed his Warhorse HSBK Racing Ducati Panigale V4 R. Herrin was uninjured in the fall, but it may force him to switch to his spare Superbike for Race One Saturday afternoon.

Two-time and defending Champion Jake Gagne was second-best with a 1:40.278 on his Fresh N Lean Progressive Yamaha.

Five-time MotoAmerica Superbike Cameron Beaubier claimed the third and final spot on the front row with a 1:40.308 on his Tytlers Cycle Racing BMW M 1000 RR.

Row-two starters include Gagne’s teammate Cameron Petersen (1:40.383), Beaubier’s teammate Corey Alexander (1:40.507), and Richie Escalante (1:40.892) on his Vision Wheel M4 ECSTAR Suzuki GSX-R1000R.
