The Edmonton Motorcycle Roadracing Association Gets Set to Hold Its Rounds of the Western Canadian Championships!

September 5,6,7 will see the EMRA host its two rounds of the Western Canadian Championships at the new Castrol Raceway in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. That weekend will also conclude the EMRA’s 6 round schedule.

Many classes have been closely contested throughout the season at Castrol’s developing new road course. Expert Superbike is setting up to be another exciting battle to the last checkered flag, with Justin Knapik having a chance at wrapping up not only Expert Superbike, but the overall track championship as well! Fast up and comer Shane Caravan will be looking to continue his dominating season aboard his Yamaha R1 trying to clinch the Intermediate Superbike championship. Caravan has battled through some major crashes and serious injuries this season and yet has managed to put on a performance that not many could have expected.

With riders and teams from across western Canada expected to embark on Castrol Raceway for the event, this will be a weekend that not many will want to miss.
