Championship point leader Gus Rodio was the fastest rider during MotoAmerica REV’IT! Twins Cup Qualifying One (Q1) Friday afternoon at Pittsburgh International Race Complex (a.k.a. PittRace), in Wampum, Pennsylvania. Riding his Rodio Racing – Powered by Robem Engineering Aprilia RS 660, Rodio recorded a time of 1:48.842 around the 2.7-mile, 18-turn course.
Defending Champion Blake Davis was right behind Rodio with a lap at 1:48.905 on his N2 Racing/BobbleHeadMoto Yamaha YZF-R7, and Rodio’s teammate Rocco Landers got the third and final spot on the provisional front row with his 1:48.995.
