Tonight On Pit Pass Moto

Advance, North Carolina (June 3, 2014) – Motorcycle racers, business owners and insiders from the motorcycle world give their uncut opinions and stories every Tuesday at 8 pm eastern. Listen live at www.pitpassmoto.com

Trey Canard, 450 Pro Motocross – Muscle Milk Honda

In Supercross this year he missed a good portion of the season due to injury but quickly got up to speed at the St Louis round and scored mostly top finishes the rest of the season. At the opening round of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championships (Glen Helen) he finished 3rd and this past weenkend (Hangtown) Trey went 3-4 for 3rd overall. He sits 3rd in points.

Marvin Musquin, 250 Pro Motocross – Red Bull KTM

When Musquin races healthy he is a good bet for a win and possibly a championship. Unfortunately he had to sit out the Supercross season after he tore his ACL. He was still ramping up his speed and fitness going into Round 1 of the Outdoors at Glen Helen when he crashed in practice and reportedly dislocated his shoulder. Amazingly, he taped it up and salvaged 10-8 moto finishes for 8th overall. At Hangtown last Saturday he went 9-7 for 7th overall and sits 5th in points.

Jake is racing motocross while his team manager Brandon Parrish is managing all the other aspects of the team. Parrish has known the owner of Crosley Radio for a long and they are teamed up with Bee Line Courier and H&O Contracting to support Baumert’s racing efforts

Dane Westby, Daytona SportBike – Yamalube/Westby Racing

Westby got the monkey off his back for 2014 with his 3rd place podium finish at Road America this past weekend. After a rough start to the season at the Daytona 200, and another less than ideal 19th place finish at race one at Road America, Westby was back to his old form running at the front of the pack. In 2013 he finished in the top ten in all twelve events for a 6th overall in the Daytona SportBike class. His career-best season so far was 2012 when he finished 2nd overall in the DSB class.

He also has been racing the Geico SuperBike Shootout series and picked up a 4th place finish at one of the rounds.
