Cameron Beaubier Earns First Career AMA Pro SuperBike Pole For Monster Energy/Graves/Yamaha; Teammate Hayes Is Second Fastest At Road America

Elkhart Lake, WI – May 31, 2014 – At Road America for the Subway SuperBike Doubleheader, AMA Pro Racing’s brand-new SuperBike qualifying procedure also proved to be a first for Monster Energy/Graves/Yamaha phenom Cameron Beaubier as he notched his first SuperBike pole position in only the second round of his rookie season.

Saturday morning’s SuperBike qualifying consisted of two sessions, with a 15-minute final qualifying for the top-12 fastest SuperBike riders. Cameron, who earned the provisional pole on Friday, hung onto the top spot and will start from the pole for Saturday afternoon’s and Sunday afternoon’s two SuperBike races. Three-time AMA Pro SuperBike Champion Josh Hayes will also start on the front row of the grid in second position and right alongside Cameron.
